Dr. Jonathan Fuller, MD

 

Dr. Jonathan E. Fuller is an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon with more than 25 years of experience specializing in the full spectrum of spinal disorders. From 1998 until his retirement in 2023, he practiced at the Nebraska Spine + Pain Center, the state’s largest orthopaedic spine clinic.

Dr. Fuller earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed two years of a general surgery residency before transferring into and completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in spine surgery at the renowned Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Fuller served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force, where he was Officer in Charge of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery and Director of the Fracture Clinic at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany—the largest U.S. forces medical center overseas and a major referral hub for Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.

Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Fuller is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Scoliosis Research Society, where he served a two-year term as Chairman of the Morbidity and Mortality Committee. His work has been recognized with honors such as the Milagro Award for his service at the One World Clinic and the Louis A. Goldstein Award from the Scoliosis Research Society.
